Minimal and essential personal data is collected from you from our website ‘contact form’, during initial telephone conversation or face-to-face consultation prior to commencement of a working relationship, in order to deliver our services. This is mostly limited to name, postal address, email address, telephone numbers (including an emergency contact) and details of your veterinary surgeon. If you engage us in remedial behaviour work, other relevant details such as other individuals living in your household may be captured.
In accordance with the GDPR (regulations governing Data Protection), all client information is kept in hard copy format in a secure folder at our home/office address. Your name and telephone number will be saved in the (password protected) mobile phone of the person(s) responsible for carrying out your service. If you have sent an enquiry via our website contact form or an email directly to us, information may be stored within the email server of our (password protected) company PC. Details relevant to a subcontractor providing services on our behalf are passed on for the sole purpose of provision of their service.
Details are neither bought from nor sold to any third party.
We do not use booking software, nor do we have any requirement to store payment details.
Emergency contact and veterinary surgeon details will only be used in event of emergency, if we cannot reach you by telephone. By signing our consent/new client registration form, you express your permission for us to do so.
From time-to-time, we may wish to share photographs of your pets on our website or company social media. You may opt out of this within the relevant section of our consent/new client registration form.
After we have completed a service for you, your data will be kept for a maximum of five years, before being destroyed. You may ask us to remove your personal data from our storage facilities at any time.
